
GSE Dynamics Inc is a manufacturing company that focuses on supplying structural parts to the different branches of the United States Military. In the 35 years since my father, Daniel Shybunko, first started GSE we were fortunate to have employees who were highly skilled and dedicated to their work. Knockout Pest Control, Inc has been in business since 1975. Did you ever find yourself in a situation where you were lacking something but didn't realize it was lacking until had it? Well, that is the case with our new procedure manuals that were produced by Gail Nikol and Unique Business Solutions.
First of all, let me make it clear that I am not a person who generally enjoys working with consultants (I spend my time trying to figure out their ulterior motive). Gail is far from your ordinary consultant. Gail Nikol was hired on and immediately became part of our company. Everyone at Wolf-Gordon who has had the opportunity to work with Gail has been amazed both at her wonderful manner and extraordinary competence. Comments about "how amazing" Gail is and "how incredible it is that she gets what I do after sitting with me for just an hour" are frequently heard. Her skills in dealing with my staff (let's fact it, people could potentially feel threatened having their jobs clearly procedurized) are unparalleled. She has become both a mentor and friend to everyone that she has worked with. That being said, the real test is the end product.
We began working with Gail Nikol on a small procedure manual. Although doing procedure manuals was part of our company goals (we had tried on our own, failed, and then just forgot about them) we were not positive that we wanted to devote our time end effort to coming up with manuals company wide.
