Our Process

Our Business Partners have quickly discovered that our unique process is comprehensive and yet non-invasive to the staff. The process includes:

  • Create (if needed) an Organization Chart, Job Descriptions and Workflow Process Analysis
  • Assess the tasks at risk
  • Identify the knowledge at risk
  • Review the procedures for accuracy and duplication
  • Gather the information, files and knowledge to be documented
  • Draft and Review the documents for/with management
  • Finalize the documentation
  • Deliver the product

Why Does The Staff Cooperate?

"The successes of most jobs are in the minds of the employee performing the job". This is a true statement for approximately 80% of the companies we have talked with.

"Everyone at Wolf-Gordon who has had the opportunity to work with Gail has been amazed both at her wonderful manner and extraordinary competence. Comments about "how amazing" Gail is and "how incredible it is that she gets what I do after sitting with me for just an hour" are frequently heard. Her skills in dealing with my staff (let’s face it, people could potentially feel threatened having their jobs clearly procedurized) are unparalleled. She has become both a mentor and friend to everyone that she has worked with..."

Steve Goldfeder, Dir. Of Operations - Wolf Gordon.

"Through extensive interviews with employees, you learned how they functioned in their roles, and then wrote it all down. Within two weeks of arriving here, the depth of your knowledge was so complete that I felt sure you could step into any job and perform it successfully, including mine! Each employee you worked with looked forward to your visits and enjoyed the process of sharing his or her knowledge. At the end, we had an Operation Manual that included detailed instructions and screen shots from our web site and accounting systems, and it’s been a very helpful and well-used document."

Sharon Newman, CEO, Action Envelope.

"... She created a manual that I could utilize right away, and presented the information in a clear, concise, and thorough manner. The feedback from the employees who met with her was even more complimentary. In a situation where employees could feel threatened, "defending their knowledge and skill set", they instead feel comfortable to share with Gail. It was an atmosphere of a shared project, and in the end my employees felt relieved that there was a resource for people to utilize if for some reason they were not at work..."
